There is something both magical and dark about the circus. My fascination for this spectacular world started when I was just a kid, and my grandpa would take me almost weekly to watch new shows. Everything fascinated me. The clowns made me laugh with their jokes and tricks. The acrobats taught me how to be brave. They made me dream about flying, the magicians who were true Gods in my eyes, the animal tamers who I believed to be superheroes, and the presenter I thought to be the master of all that was going on in this secret world. It was all magical and somewhat forbidden. Circus has something timeless, and it doesn’t seem to change much over the years, holding the same charm it did back when I was a child.
